A premier luxury waterfront resort located along the South Florida coastline is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its executive finance leadership team.

This role supports the financial operations of a large, high-volume full-service resort, overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial reporting. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards across multiple properties within the portfolio.

Working closely with the Controller and executive leadership, this individual will also assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and operational performance.

Key Qualifications

Experience within luxury or upscale full-service hotels or resorts

Strong background in high-volume hospitality accounting environments

Proven ability to oversee daily accounting operations and financial controls

Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes

Knowledge of GAAP and multi-property financial reporting

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial results
